#LOST Literature Talk
I thought I would share this post I just contributed to this forum topic on tv.com concerning some of the current themes on Lost:
Another great book that appeared in the hatch in season 2 was The Third Policeman. This wasn’t a choice by Damon and Carlton, but one of the other writer’s who wanted to slip it in the show. Ever since I read the book, I keep seeing more and more in common...

WTF, BS HULU, BS!
My response to this ridiculousness: http://bit.ly/cPftdm from the Best in Show tournament on hulu.
Wow, I was wondering how Simpsons won at the last minute. And not it all makes sense. Now I’m even more upset about this Ken Tucker guy’s assessment of why Simpsons is better than Community. What he wrote: “”Community features humans acting like cartoon characters; The...

Sanitizer
I’ve been sick for a few days now so I’ve been taking precautions here at work to hopefully prevent others from contracting my disease. Part of this of course involves hand sanitizer which can be used to sanitize more than just hands. Splotch a dash onto a tissue and you have yourself a sanitizing machine device cloth tissue.
I noticed however that the surplus of fluids I’ve...

#LOST S6E9 Ab Aeterno
My review from tv.com (no spoilers)
I knew going into this week that we were going to get a Richard episode at long last, but I was absolutely stunned by this episode. It’s episodes like this one that every television should strive to achieve; memorable, emotional, intelligent, and talent bursting out of every seam from every department involved with the show. I’m not going to...

Deux Update
Okay, I admit it I haven’t actually worked on the book much this week… I got a hold of a TON of comics this weekend and have been working on indexing them etc. It’s a lot of work, and not just by lazy Erik standards.
It’s mostly done now, so it’s time to buckle down and get back to writing. I still anticipate hitting the e-book release date on April 4th. That’s...

Craigslist typo
I have the weekly Sailor moon comics 7, 9-30, 32-35 all in awesome condition, that I am trying to get rid of. I would be happy to shit out of state as long as you are willing to pay for shipping and pay with Paypal.
*I’m not going to pay for you to drive all the way to Wyoming, just go to the gas station on the corner.*
Note: No I am not going to buy these Sailor Moon comics.

Stairs
I have no problem taking stairs two at a time, or even three at a time when I’m feeling limber… if I’m ascending the staircase. I never, ever, ever, skips steps when going down. I’ve tried it once or twice and there’s just a sense of impending missing a step and tumbling to my embarrassing and painful death.
Joke stolen from @goodlaura*:
I wonder if barcodes exist in a parallel universe.
*stolen with permission, so technically I guess ‘joke given to me by.’

Larry David
I’m watching this week’s episode of the Marriage Ref and have come to this conclusion: the only reason anything Jerry Seinfeld does is any good is because of Larry David’s direct involvement. Seinfeld. Season 7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm (the Seinfeld reunion), and this episode of Marriage Ref.
Things that are terrible that Jerry did that Larry had nothing to do with: Bee Movie....

Mail Observations
First, it tickles me every time that my post office is located on Pony Express Drive.
Second, why is First Class the worst/cheapest of the three mailing types offered by the US Postal Service? I’m sure it has something to do with history, but that would require effort to research,

Lost: Tales of Suspense
We get our local channels over the air, which means one of those digital convertor box thingies and a super finickey digital antennae. Channel 7 (denver’s abc affiliate) is the worst of the bunch.
Lost is about the only show I actually watch live over the air. Last night, the suspense of one particular scene was intensified by the real life suspense created by this digital antennae setup.

experiment
http://wordcombo.tumblr.com is a little distraction I came up with to use the queue feature of tumblr. Every day will theoretically bring 4 new strange word combinations to the tumlr word, and the twitter world. Unlike my “wurds” segment on erikjskinner.com, this is meant not to have any particular meaning or commentary on word usage, outside of what can be told by the word combo...

NOOO! Meh. YES! YES! →
NOOO! - The Office. It’s dying. Just put together a great finale for this season and end it. Seriously. I love the show as a whole, so I will hate seeing it decay into nothingness as I know it will next season. If not this season.
Meh. - 30 Rock. Also kind of not doing it for me much anymore. Honestly, I don’t care at this point if this show gets worse and dies a slow death, or gets...

send me mail
I just got myself a PO Box so any of you weirdos who like to use paper and stamps (I’m not entirely sure what those are, I saw a film about them in history class) can send me letters and post cards.
I primarily set it up so I can take orders for Deux by check, order forms found on http://deuxbook.com
Anyway, here’s the address you can send stuff too. But only small stuff. Seriously,...

portrait
Perhaps you have noticed my new portrait here on the rumbltumb? Here it is again in case you can’t be bothered to look anywhere but directly below this block of text.
Despite being the scariest creatures on the face of this planet, this particular Marmoset melts my heart.
I’m conflicted like I never have been before.

Let's talk some Lost.
I haven’t written anything about Lost, because I don’t want to contribute to what I imagine is an overflowing heap of crappy theories, rants and “omg why didn’t ____ and I so knew that ____.”
That’s why this week I’m presenting another totally insane theory meant to be totally wrong, but in a way totally make sense.
Back in the Lighthouse, Hurls and...

It's official: An asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs →
parangnormalactivity:
A giant asteroid smashing into Earth is the only plausible explanation for the extinction of the dinosaurs, a global scientific team said on Thursday, hoping to settle a row that has divided experts for decades.
Sure, an asteroid may be the only plausible explanation… but the origin of the asteroid could be any number of things. Perhaps an outside force influenced...
